EMDC welcomes Lajoie to Workforce Team

Eastern Maine Development Corp. is pleased to welcome Linda Lajoie of Sangerville, who has joined our Workforce Team based in our Dover Foxcroft office. Lajoie will be working to support individuals in the region primarily in Dover-Foxcroft, Guilford, and Greenville, assisting them in overcoming barriers while achieving their professional goals.

With over 30 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations as a HUD housing counselor and financial literacy specialist, Lajoie has expertise in community outreach and advocacy for veterans and people in recovery. To that end, she is the founder of the Silhouette Project saluting veterans lost to suicide.

Linda will be instrumental in helping us connect with people of all ages and provide the support they need to succeed.”

On her first day, Lajoie said, “I am happy to join EMDC to work with individuals and community leaders to provide an avenue for people to succeed and reach their goals. I’m passionate about helping people better themselves and creating pathways to opportunities.”
