Job fair in Greenville on Tuesday

GREENVILLE — At the request of the local business community, the non-profit Moosehead Lake Region Economic Development Corporation is holding a job fair at the Greenville Consolidated School open to all free of charge on Tuesday, May 14 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Over two dozen local businesses, large and small, that are hiring now will be at the job fair. They include companies working in construction, manufacturing, health care, retail, and hospitality. The US Post Office, the Maine State Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife and the town of Greenville will also attend to speak with potential job applicants. Employers at the job fair are hiring for jobs in the Moosehead Lake region and some state-wide. In addition, the Eastern Maine Development Corporation and the Maine State Department of Labor will be there to speak with job seekers about short-term job exploration and longer-term apprenticeship programs that could be of help.

There is ample parking at the Greenville Consolidated School located on Pritham Street. There is no cost to attend the job fair for those curious about how they could find good jobs in the beautiful Moosehead Lake region.
