Middle school track results

NEWPORT — Outdoor track and field teams from Piscataquis Community Secondary School, Ridge View Community School, and SeDoMoCha Middle School took part in a meet on May 1 at Nokomis Regional High School. The following athletes from the three schools placed in the top two in their respective events:

Girls grade 5-6 50-meters: 1. Molly Belanger RVCS 8.64 seconds.

100: 2. Belanger 15.85.

200 1. Belanger 34.54.

1,600: 1. Emma Knowles RVCS 6:42.14.

55 hurdles: 1. Riley Hobbs SeDoMoCha 14.03; 2. Morgan Nadeau PCSS 14.49.

High jump: 2. Allison Reed PCSS 3 feet, 2 inches.

Long jump: 1. Cedar Deertrack SeDoMoCha 10-10.50; 2. Parker Lizotte SeDoMoCha 10-00.
