Local Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race results

Nine paddlers from across the region took part in the 2024 Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race on Saturday, April 20, traveling about 16.5 miles from the village of Kenduskeag into downtown Bangor.

Michael and Laurie Sproul of Brownville were part of a 4-person craft in the open class and their group came in second with a time of 3 hours, 11 minutes, and 11 seconds.

Cory Barnett of Dexter was part of a 3-person team that was 16th in the division in 4:27.30.

Timothy Johnston of Parkman and Orion Fleming of Brattleboro, Vermont finished second in the 2-person kayak class with their time of 2:49.00.

Placing fifth was the duo of Josiah Corbin of Dover-Foxcroft and Jael Fleming of Dover-Foxcroft in 3:23.07.

Lemie Myshrall of Greenville came in third in the century class at 3:40.04.

For the canoe 2-person short beginner class, Nick Mangino of Guilford and Todd Halligan were third with their time of 3:37.45.

Coming in 17th was Tyler Bourgoin of Charleston and Jordan Clement of Bradford in 5:06.01.
