Man accused of shooting at his father-in-law in Milo

A man is accused of shooting at his father-in-law in Milo last week.

David Barry, 53, was charged with attempted murder, attempted aggravated assault, domestic violence reckless conduct with a firearm and domestic violence criminal threatening with a firearm, according to the Milo Police Department.

Barry allegedly fired a pistol at his father-in-law on Pleasant River Road about 6:35 p.m. Thursday, April 18. He fired until the magazine was empty and then reloaded, Milo police said April 21.

Every shot missed the victim.

Barry, who was apparently intoxicated, was arrested without incident, and police removed several guns from the home.

Barry was being held at the Piscataquis County Jail in Dover-Foxcroft.

No additional information was released.
