Conlogue named women’s outdoor track NAC Co-Rookie of the Week
BANGOR — The North Atlantic Conference announced its weekly track & field awards on April 16 and Husson University freshman Abigail Conlogue of Brownville has been named Co-Rookie of the Week.
At the Monks Invitational, hosted by St. Joseph’s College of Maine, Conlogue won the javelin, throwing a distance of 34.85 meters.
She shared rookie honors with Lilianna Peters of SUNY Cobleskill of Hinsdale, New York, as she won the 5,000 at the 2024 Cortland, Alternative Meet hosted by SUNY Cortland in 19 minutes, 41.99 seconds.
The daughter of Hazen and Marcia Conlogue, Conlogue is majoring in health sciences/doctor of pharmacy and she is a 2023 graduate of Penquis Valley High School.
