Foxcroft Youth Wrestling grapples at Pirate tournament
GUILFORD — On Saturday, March 9 Foxcroft Youth Wrestling participated in the Pirate youth wrestling tournament at Piscataquis Community Secondary School. It was a great showing for the wrestlers.
Gabe Johnson, Caroline Dumont, Mason Chase, Luke McCorrison, and Finn Dumont all take home first-place honors. Placing second were Maddox White, Colton Wing, and Ashton Griffith. Four wrestlers came in third, Patrick Frye, Addie Johnson, Gage Rideout, and Lennox Dewitt. Fourth-place finishes by Lincoln Hutchinson, Kori Hite, Royce Tirrell, Wyatt Durgin, and Gunnar Woodell were achieved. Otto McPheters rounded out our medals with a top five finish.
ATOP THE PODIUM — Mason Chase of Foxcroft Youth Wrestling won his weight class at the Pirate youth tourney March 9 at PCSS in Guilford.

RUNNER-UP — Foxcroft Youth Wrestling’s Ashton Griffith earned a second-place finish on Saturday in Guilford.
