SeDoMoCha February Student in the Spotlight honorees

STUDENTS IN THE SPOTLIGHT — On Feb. 29 SeDoMoCha School students from kindergarten through grade 8 were recognized for various habits of the mind traits they exhibit, of which they serve as good role models for their peers. The Student in the Spotlight safety honorees include front, from left, kindergarten: Florence Lee, grade 1: Glorianna Rollins, grade 2: Kaelyn Atwater, grade 3: Kassidy Perkins, and elementary unified arts: Margaret Allman. Back, grade 4: Miles Jarrett (safety), grade 5: Ron Tyler (thinking and communicating clearly), grade 6: Jackson Mallory (accountability), grade 7: Sullivan Carey (using humor), grade 8: Annabelle Turgeon (organization), and middle school unified arts: Braiden Wing (thinking and communicating with clarity and precision).

STAFF IN THE SPOTLIGHT — Special Services Director Sue Terrill also shared four SeDoMoCha School staff members nominated for this month’s Staff in the Spotlight recognition; kindergarten teacher Hailee Macomber, Administrative Assistant Katie Day, special educational educational technician Stephen Sternal, and Grade 8 math teacher; Joe Manuel. The Habit of the Mind chosen for recognition for February was finding humor, with Manuel selected for the top honor for the month. Pictured is Manuel and his son Rin Manuel.
