Pihcintu Multinational Girls Choir to perform at Center Theatre

DOVER-FOXCROFT – The Center Theatre will host a special concert featuring the Pihcintu Multinational Girls Choir at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 9. This unique ensemble, known for its powerful and heartfelt performances, offers an afternoon of musical unity and cultural harmony.

Under the direction of Con Fullam, the Pihcintu Choir brings together immigrant and refugee girls from around the globe who now call Maine their home. Through their music, the choir shares stories of hope, resilience and the unifying power of song. Performances have touched audiences nationwide, earning acclaim for the girls’ ability to inspire and connect people from all walks of life.

“We are truly privileged to host the Pihcintu Choir,” said Patrick Myers, executive director of the Center Theatre. “Their music is a testament to the strength and beauty of diversity. This is a rare opportunity for our community to experience a performance that not only entertains but also enlightens and uplifts.”

MULTINATIONAL CHOIR — The Pihcintu Multinational Girls Choir is a unique chorus of young women from Cambodia, China, Congo, El Salvador, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Uganda, Vietnam, British West Indies, and Zambia, along with children whose families have been here for generations.
