Center Theatre hosts screening of the International Fly Fishing Film Festival

DOVER-FOXCROFT – Center Theatre is proud to announce the first northern Maine screening of the International Fly Fishing Film Festival, set for 7 p.m. on Friday, March 8. This world-renowned event showcases a collection of fly fishing films that highlight the pursuit of wild spaces, pristine waters, and the global fly-fishing community’s connection.

“Hosting the IF4 is a thrill for us,” said Patrick Myers, the theatre’s executive director. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to bring world-class fly-fishing films to an area known for its exceptional fly fishing. Thanks to our sponsors, we’ll also be offering over $2,000 in door prizes, including an Old Town Discovery 158 canoe.”

Admission for the screening is $15, with 10 percent of ticket sales benefiting the Natural Resource Education Center in Greenville for the Fisheries Internship/Enhancement Program. The evening promises not only breathtaking films but also a chance to win spectacular prizes, courtesy of generous local sponsors including Old Town Canoes, Wild Waters Guide Service, Allagash Guide Service, the Atlantic Salmon Federation, the Appalachian Mountain Club, Knife’s Edge Trading Post, The Nature Conservancy, Wilsons on Moosehead Lake, and Indian Hill Trading Post.
