Greenville girls fall to Valley in D South semifinal
AUGUSTA — The top-seeded girls from Upper Kennebec Valley High School of Bingham defeated No. 5 Greenville High School 63-27 in a Class D South semifinal at the Augusta Civic Center Center on Thursday, Feb. 22.
Nola Mason led Greenville with 16 points. Jaydyn Boone scored four, Haley Ferland had three, and Katie Hanson and Lakelyn St. Jean picked up two points apiece.
Kirsten Bigrow and Madeline Hill led Valley with 19 points each.
The Cavaliers (20-0) won both meetings in 2023-24 with Greenville (8-9). Valley had a 60-13 victory in Bingham on Jan. 9. The semifinal victory advanced the team to the regional final against No. 2 Waynflete School of Portland (15-5).
