Piscataquis Radar Runs return Saturday
DOVER-FOXCROFT — The third annual Piscataquis Radar Runs start at 10 a.m., with registration beginning at 7 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 3 at Charles A. Chase Memorial Field off Pine Street (the weather date is Sunday, Feb. 4). Round No. 2 of racing is scheduled for Saturday, March 2.
General admission is $5, children 12 and under are free. There will be cash prizes for about two dozen stock and modified classes, trophies for kids, food trucks, and vendors.
RADAR RUNS — The inaugural Piscataquis Radar Runs took place on the frozen river in downtown Dover-Foxcroft in early February 2022. This year’s event will be Saturday, Feb. 3 at the Charles A. Chase Memorial Field in Dover-Foxcroft.
Proceeds from the Piscataquis Radar Runs will benefit the Piscataquis Valley Snowmobile Club and a scholarship for a local graduate to attend a trade school.
