Good Shepherd Food Bank issues Capacity Building Grants

Each year, Good Shepherd Food Bank offers the opportunity for our school and healthcare partners to apply for Capacity Building Grants. The purpose of this grant program is to support partners looking to increase the amount of healthy food they’re able to distribute through their programs and to increase the number of individuals they serve.

In total, Good Shepherd Food Bank invested $125,352 into 50 of our partners throughout the state. Of this $40,000 was distributed to eight healthcare partners and $85,352 was distributed to 42 school programs and afterschool partners.

School recipients include Penquis Valley Middle/High School and SeDoMoCha School/RSU 68.
