SeDoMoCha recognizes Student in the Spotlight honorees

DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Dec. 20 the SeDoMoCha School held the monthly Student in the Spotlight assembly. As a special treat, the middle school chorus performed first, singing holiday songs and led by chorus director Joshua Hunnewell.

Grades K-5 and elementary unified arts students were recognized for their accountability, grade 6 for humor, grade 7 for creativity, grade 8 for striving for accuracy, and middle school unified arts for personal growth. In addition, four  staff members were recognized for their lifelong learning/dedication to excellence in education: Heidi Hall, Jolane Clawson, Morgan Noyes, and grade 4 teacher Judy Lewis; with Lewis voted on by the administration and selected as the December Staff in the Spotlight winner. 

Students recognized at the assembly were kindergarten Rowyn Edwards, grade 1 Ava Austie, grade 2 Brody Strout, grade 3 Paityn Jay, grade 4 Penelope Day, elementary unified arts Abigail McEwen, grade 5 Annalise Gaylord, grade 6 Hashem Abed Elnoor, grade 7 Olivia Mishio, grade 8 Brianna Rosbicki, and middle school unified arts Ivy Spencer.
