Dexter students raise funds for cancer patient gas cards

GAS CARD FUNDS — Dexter Regional High School Student Government recently participated in fundraising activities for the benefit of breast cancer patients in the area. The students conducted a “Miracle Minute” and designated proceeds from a Hat and Jeans Day to purchase gas cards for cancer patients. These efforts were run in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Executive Board of the DRHS Student Government presented the check to Hillary Starbird, director of community outreach philanthropy officer at Northern Light Mayo Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft.
