MONSON — Christmas is just around the corner and those special unique items for everyone on the gift list could be at Monson’s annual Kris Kringle’s Market on Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Monson Gym from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kris Kringle’s Market will open with a variety of crafts, such as folk art, fabric items, knitted items, homemade food, wreaths, jewelry, wooden items, and more.

The market committee will be serving lunch starting at 11 a.m. There will be cookie decorating for the kids from 12-12:30 p.m. and Santa Claus arrives at 1 p.m. for the youngsters and the young at heart.

All entries for the gingerbread house contest must be at the gym by 10 a.m. Ribbons will be awarded to the top three creative and well-crafted entries.

A holiday village will be created with the entries and the theme for this year’s competition is a “Winter Wonderland”. Gingerbread contest rules can be found on the Town of Monson’s website/Facebook page.
