Bangor Ballet’s ‘Nutcracker in a Nutshell’ returns to the Center Theatre

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Center Theatre is thrilled to announce the return of a cherished holiday tradition, as Bangor Ballet brings its captivating performance of “Nutcracker in a Nutshell” back to Dover-Foxcroft. Audiences are invited to experience the magic of this timeless ballet on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m.

This adaptation of the classic Nutcracker story is suitable for audiences of all ages, offering a blend of dance, beautiful costumes, and Tchaikovsky’s unforgettable music. Bangor Ballet’s “Nutcracker in a Nutshell” is a streamlined version of the original ballet, designed to capture the essential elements of the original, making it ideal for families and ballet enthusiasts alike.

Patrick Myers, the Center Theatre’s executive director, expressed his excitement for the upcoming performances, “We’re always happy to have this beloved holiday show on our stage. It wouldn’t be Christmas without the Nutcracker in a Nutshell at the Center Theatre!”
