Greenville boys move to 8-player Small School South championship

GREENVILLE — The Greenville High School boys defeated Dirigo High School of Dixfield 5-0 in an 8-player Small School South semifinal on Nov. 2. The second-seeded Lakers (now 13-3 having won for the seventh time in the last eight games) advanced to the regional championship. No. 3 Dirigo finishes the season at 8-6-2.

Greenville is set to face top seed Carrabec High School of North Anson (16-0) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at Biddeford High School. The two teams played twice in September with the Cobras winning each game by a score of 2-1.
