Foxcroft’s Jarrett finishes fifth at Old Town Sectional Invitational

OLD TOWN — Foxcroft Academy junior Runner Jarrett ran to a 5th-place performance at the 73rd Old Town Sectional Invitational on the afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 23. Jarrett covered the course in a time of 17 minutes, 55.74 seconds to come in fifth among a field of 81 runners in the boys varsity race.

Jarrett helped the Ponies accumulate 215 points to finish eighth among 11 full schools, just ahead of the 230 points for Brewer High School, 249 for Washington Academy of East Machias, and the 291 points for Presque Isle High School.

Freshman Pace Jarrett was 33rd with his time of 19:53.05, and senior Zachary Peirce came in 49th at 21:21.29. The other three Foxcroft runners were sophomore John Seo, 70th at 24:06.31; sophomore Daniel Buyak, 76th at 25:50.72; and freshman Davey Kim, 80th at 29:16.27.
