Piscataquis Regional Food Center promotes Quimby to director of operations

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Piscataquis Regional Food Center, home of the Dover Foxcroft Area Food Center, is delighted to announce the promotion of Becki Quimby to the position of director of operations. This strategic decision comes in recognition of Quimby’s invaluable contributions and outstanding dedication to the success of the Food Center since its reopening in February.

Quimby joined PRFC in July of 2022 after serving many years as the board treasurer of the Dover Foxcroft Area Food Cupboard. She quickly emerged as a driving force behind the Food Center’s resurgence. Her unwavering commitment and problem-solving skills have been instrumental in creating an exceptional shopper experience.

“We are thrilled to appoint Becki Quimby as our new director of operations. Her impact on the organization has been evident from the moment she joined us. Becki’s strong organizational skills and hard work during our reopening phase has been a key factor in the Food Center’s ability to scale our program to serve 83 percent more households in just six months,” said Kelly Sirimoglu, PRFC’s executive director.

As director of operations, Quimby will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, implementing innovative strategies, and further enhancing the quality of services offered by PRFC and the Food Center.

The Board of Directors, along with the entire PRFC staff, extend their warmest congratulations to Becki on this well-deserved promotion. They eagerly anticipate the continued success and prosperity that she will undoubtedly bring to the organization. 


Piscataquis Regional Food Center, founded in 2017 is a 501c3 nonprofit in Dover Foxcroft and is an equal-opportunity employer. PRFC’s mission is to connect people with sources of healthy food and stimulate the regional agricultural economy. In December 2022 PRFC acquired the Dover Foxcroft Area Food Cupboard and reopened the Food Center as a choice-model pantry in February.
