HJ Crosby Traveling Band Camp

The Harold J Crosby community band announces a summer of free instrumental music lessons for youth and adults. The community band players and experienced retired music educators will be available in Newport, Dexter, and Guilford one day a week respectively from July 11 to Aug. 9. 

Wind and percussion coaching will take place Tuesdays 1-4 p.m. in Newport at the LDS Church on Kelley Road; Wednesdays 9 a.m. to noon in Guilford at the King Cummings Park (or school parking lot); and Thursdays 1-4 p.m. in Dexter at the Performing Arts Center.

Bring your instrument, some music, plan to have fun playing music in the great outdoors all summer. We’ll have a variety of music to enjoy as well. Need an instrument on loan? Call 207-924-6235.
