Sessions of the Essentials of College Planning

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will be hosting free individualized sessions, the Essentials of College Planning for adults 19 & over who are looking for a new career or returning to higher education.

Sessions will be at the Penquis Higher Education Center, 50 Mayo Street, at 1 and 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 22 with a 2 p.m. drop-in.

Virtual sessions will be at 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 12 and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13.

What we do: career advising, college planning, advocacy, matching participants to funding sources, applying for financial aid, assisting in college application completion, application fee waivers for qualified adults, scholarship application completion, and as well as … helping you develop a plan for your new future! 

The individualized session lasts approximately an hour. Pre-registration is encouraged. All services provided by MEOC are free of cost.
