Dexter Regional High School students to compete in Thomas Cup

WATERVILLE — The Thomas Cup is a free event for Maine high schoolers at Thomas College in which teams of five students compete in science, technology, engineering, and innovation competitions for the chance to win their names on the Thomas Cup and receive scholarships worth up to $10,000 over four years. Competition areas include cyber defense, esports, computer science, and crime scene analysis. 
Among the nine schools set to compete at the all-nighter March 31 to April 1 will be a team from Dexter Regional High School. The competition begins at 7:15 p.m. on Friday after the opening ceremonies and closing ceremonies will be at 9 a.m. on Saturday with the winning team announced.
