Angus King’s 2024 challenges

To the Editor;

U.S. Sen. Angus King is an Independent who will likely have to face a Democrat and a Republican in a 2024 three-way general election race. I think King has a terrible record regarding middle class and corporate taxation. And his record on at least one board he previously served on will leave him vulnerable to the charge that he can’t run a lemonade stand.

Boring, old, moderate men just don’t sell any more. That leaves an opening for a very progressive Democratic woman candidate to win Maine’s 2024 Senate seat.
