Greenville ‘Trunk or Treat’ on Halloween

GREENVILLE — “Trunk or Treat” events are being sponsored by churches and Knights of Columbus councils in five Maine locations this Halloween.

The Moosehead Lake Knights of Columbus Council #2368 will host “Trunk or Treat” in the parking lot of Holy Family Church, located on 145 Pritham Avenue in Greenville, on Monday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. All are welcome. For more information, contact Joe at 207-280-3300 or jfdiangelo@gmail.com.

At a “Trunk or Treat” event, individuals and families park their cars in a central location like a parking lot and decorate their cars and trunks for Halloween, many times creating an elaborate scene. Children, wearing Halloween costumes, walk from vehicle to vehicle collecting candy the way they would during a traditional trick-or-treating outing.
