Fall events at Friends of Community Fitness

GUILFORD — The fall schedule at Friends of Community Fitness, 31 High Street, is underway with the following programs:

Free homeschool open gym Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Bingo the second Tuesday of the month in September, October, and November at 6 p.m. Bingo prizes, dollar trivia, and a raffle each month. Concessions available.

Hunter’s Full Moon Pickleball Party Sunday, Oct. 9 beginning at sunset at 6:03 p.m. Free to members or only $5 day pass. We will have a lantern lit court and glow in the dark balls.  Bring a lawn chair and cozy up to the fire pit between games.

Intro to Ballroom Dancing -Wednesdays 6-7:15 p.m. Free for members or only $5 for a day pass. Includes basic instruction in waltz, salsa, East Coast Swing, and line dancing. No dance experience required. A dance will be held in December to strut your stuff! 

New Dancercize Mondays 5:30-6:15 p.m. at Friends of Community Fitness. Free for members or only $5 for a day pass. Moving to the music with low impact dancing is a great way to stay fit and have fun! No dance experience required. 

New Britney’s Beats Tuesdays 5:15-5:45 p.m. This fitness class fuels your work out with a variety of equipment and uses the music to motivate the moves. Feel the beat, feel the heat!  Not a dance class. Free for members or only $5 for day pass.

New Petal & Power Mondays 5:30-6:15 p.m. This unique fitness class will integrate using CrossFit fan bikes and resistance equipment for a workout that will get you pumped with strength & cardio. Free for members or only $5 for day pass.
