READING SPACE – A library for children in the after school program at the Piscataquis Regional YMCA in Dover-Foxcroft opened on Sept. 6, with Erma, the reading therapy dog present – Erma visited children at the PRYMCA weekly over the summer. Kids liked the area, including a clock made out of book covers. Erma’s handler April Taylor was able to bring in close to 300 books through the Reading with Erma 501(c)3 charity but would love more donations. Children’s books can be dropped off at the PRYMCA.
