Day wins state InvestWrite competition

DEXTER – Clyde Day, a recent graduate of Dexter Regional High School, received word that he came in first in the state and placed fifth nationally in the annual InvestWrite competition for the second semester of the 2021-22 school year.

The InvestWrite competition is an offshoot of The StockMarket Game program that is open to students in elementary, middle, and high schools both state and nationally. InvestWrite essays allow students an opportunity to demonstrate an understanding of the stock market and develop a strategy that can be utilized to put their money to work for them and protect them in their retirement years. Day is the second Dexter student to win the state level of this competition in recent years but the first to place nationally!
