Moose Mainea 5K/10K Walk/Run and Kid’s Fun Run return

GREENVILLE – Destination Moosehead Lake is celebrating spring with Moose Mainea. We are also excited to unveil our new logo, as a first step to the rebuilding process of this festival, which was a popular event in our region for many years.

The Moose Mainea 5K, 10K, and Kids Fun Race will be held on Sunday, May 29 by Moosehead Lake. Challenge yourself with our 5K run/walk or 10K run and make it a family event by including the kids race for younger athletes!

The races will start and finish at the Greenville High School and feature a road course with “gentle hills. Packet pick-up will be on race day only from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. There will be day of registration but we’re encouraging online pre-registration. The first 80 adults registered will receive a free race T-shirt, and the top finishers in their age group will receive a medal.

This year’s suggested theme is “Plaid.” If you are feeling up to it, please don your best plaid inspired outfits for the race/walk.
