County Democrats collect for local food cupboards, World Central Kitchen

MILO – The Piscataquis County Democrats’ mission this past year has been to feed those living with food insecurity. On May 6 they hosted a curbside community supper in Milo, having hosted a similar supper in Dover-Foxcroft earlier in the year.

Piscataquis County Democrats collected and donated $3,250 for local food cupboards as well as providing food and cleaning items. They collected $2,500 worth of donations for the World Central Kitchen which was sent to Ukraine.
