SeDoMoCha shines the spotlight on outstanding students and staff

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Each month the SeDoMoCha School recognizes “Students in the Spotlight” celebrating pupils from kindergarten to grade 8 and a staff member who teachers and staff have determined best demonstrate a specific positive attribute or characteristic chosen for the timeframe from the Habits of Mind (a set of life skills for educators and parents). Both the December “Growth Mindset” and January “Creating, Innovating, and Imagining” honorees were recognized on the morning of Jan.
DOVER-FOXCROFT — Each month the SeDoMoCha School recognizes “Students in the Spotlight” celebrating pupils from kindergarten to grade 8 and a staff member who teachers and staff have determined best demonstrate a specific positive attribute or characteristic chosen for the timeframe from the Habits of Mind (a set of life skills for educators and parents). Both the December “Growth Mindset” and January “Creating, Innovating, and Imagining” honorees were recognized on the morning of Jan. 21 (the December assembly was postponed due to remote learning last month).
Recognized for “Creating, Innovating, and Imagining” were kindergarten: Adeline Smart; grade 1: Lucas Bisson; grade 2: Layla Allen; grade 3: Amelia Robinson; grade 4: Killian Corson; grade 5: Patience Taylor; grade 6: Damien Bremer; grade 7: Gwen Atwater; grade 8: Gabe Howards; elementary unified specials: Emmett Dow; middle unified specials: Jaydin Griffith-Klimetz; and staff, Kaitlin Young, music teacher.
Students were called down to the multipurpose room on Jan. 21 to receive their certificates during a presentation with teachers speaking on each recipient.
