Shop the PCSWCD’s 2021 Tree & Plant Sale

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Piscataquis County Soil & Water Conservation District’s 2021 Tree and Plant Sale has begun. This year, PCSWCD’s Tree and Plant Sale pre-order deadline is Friday April 23, with a curbside pickup date on Saturday, May 8 from 9 a.m. to noon. This is one of PCSWCD’s biggest fundraisers with proceeds from the sale directly supporting our educational programs and outreach.

We are pleased to announce PCSWCD has sourced all our flowers, herbs, shrubs and fruit trees from local, organic producers. New in 2021, we are adding two new suppliers and even more products. All of our producers are located in Maine and some are very close to home. When you support us, you’ll be supporting them too. Buying locally helps our economy and planting native perennials and pollinator plants benefits our gardens, native pollinators and much more. Bringing beneficial insects and pollinators to our gardens help to increase our harvests of fruits, berries, flowers and vegetables.

When you pick up your plant order on May 8 at the Law Farm Nature Trails, you will have the chance to speak one-on-one with Natural Resources Conservation Services Soil Scientist Alaina Kresovik and ask questions about soil health for your garden. All preorders will be ready for pick up at Law Farm Nature Trails located on Lee Cemetery Road in Dover-Foxcroft. There won’t be plants for sale on the day of pick-up, so grab your catalog or open up your computer and place your order online at www.piscataquisswcd.org/shop.
