Narrow Gauge Riders 50th anniversary parade

MONSON — On Saturday, Feb. 20, the Narrow Gauge Riders will be celebrating their 50th anniversary by sponsoring a Snowmobile Light Parade in conjunction with Monson’s Snow Roller Day. Snowmobiles will meet and line up at the Monson Public Beach on Lake Hebron with the parade starting at 5 p.m. The route will take us across the  lake and down into town. For decorated sleds, Best of Show prizes will be given for  first, second and third places. All sleds are welcome, so come out and join our celebration.

The Narrow Gauge Riders Snowmobile Club of Monson began in 1971 with a small  group of local people and over the years the club membership has continued to grow. The Narrow Gauge Riders maintain and groom 31 miles of trail in and around Monson, all with the time and effort of volunteers.
