Pine Tree Hospice annual meeting on Zoom Nov. 19

You are invited to Pine Tree Hospice’s annual meeting. It has been a challenging year for everyone, but we invite you, on  Thursday, Nov. 19 from 6:30–8 p.m. as we celebrate the many ways in which Pine Tree Hospice has been able to carry on throughout this year.

We invite the public to attend, to learn more about what Pine Tree Hospice does in 39 towns across three counties and to help us say “thank you” to those important people who volunteer for us. Our board members, staff and volunteers all know what we do, but we want to share with everyone, especially this year, our continued commitment to support those who are living with progressive, life-limiting illnesses, caregiving and in bereavement.

In March we began to assess and change the ways in which we deliver our services; we knew we must continue our work for our clients, who rely on their volunteers for companionship.  Volunteers and clients stayed connected in new ways, and we knew that while this year would look different, we want to celebrate the changes and the challenges that accompanied them.

Our annual meeting is going to be different for 2020. This year, the meeting will be held completely online, via Zoom. Keynote speaker for the evening will be Dr. Jim VanKirk, medical director of Northern Light Palliative Care. To receive the link, please reach out to us at 207-802-8078 or email us at info@pinetreehospice.org (please note the change in email and phone number).
