PINWHEELS -- Due social distancing practices, the GFWC/Miosac Club did not place its Prevent Child Abuse America Pinwheel Garden at the Dover-Foxcroft United Methodist Church this year -- April is Prevent Child Abuse America Month. The club’s Prevent Child Abuse America Chairman Minnie McCormick thought spinning pinwheels might brighten some spirits so she decided to take the old ones and put them on her lawn in Dover-Foxcroft. All GFWC state events have been canceled and there will be no GFWC/Miosac Club meetings until October should the coronavirus pandemic have subsided by then.
