Anah Shriners’ Feztival of Trees returns

BANGOR — Next Thursday, Nov. 21 the Anah Shriners open the doors at 1404 Broadway for the eighth annual Feztival of Trees. Over the next two weekends the Feztival of Trees will host thousands of guests to visit the 62 trees sponsored by generous local businesses.

Admission to the Feztival is just $2 for adults and children under 12 are free. Tree tickets are only 50 cents each. Photos with Santa will be available on a cost by donation basis and there will be hand decorated fresh balsam and artificial wreaths available for $25 each. Meals, snacks and refreshments will be available at the Gingerbread Cafe and guests are invited to eat in our dining room.

The Feztival of Trees will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23. On Sunday, Nov. 24 the Feztival will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Feztival kicks off again on Friday, Nov. 29 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will be open on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Feztival’s last day is on Sunday, Dec. 1 when it will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tree winners will be notified by phone ASAP and will have until Wednesday, Dec. 4 to pick up their tree. Trees and presents are as displayed and in some cases, tree winners may need to pick up prizes at the sponsors location. Trees and presents are not exchangeable for cash and tree winners are responsible for any taxes or fees.
