
The Highlands Classical Chamber Ensemble performs Sunday in D-F
DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Highlands Classical Chamber Ensemble will appear in concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 10 at the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church located at 824 West Main Street. Admission is by donation. For more information, please call 564-0043.
The mission of The Highlands Classical Chamber Ensemble is to promote live classical music in the communities of Maine. The ensemble of professional musicians has been performing for seven years in local communities, from Bangor to Milo, Pittsfield to Greenville, to the enthusiastic acclaim of audiences. This year, Highlands Classical will present works by J. S. Bach, Ludwig v. Beethoven, Cezar Franck, Franz Liszt and Antonio Vivaldi. The program will include solos and duos for violin, cello, saxophone and piano, as well as a finale for all the instruments and flutes.
