DOVER-FOXCROFT — The General Federal of Women’s Clubs (GFWC)/Miosac Club celebrated the season with a gifting party. Fourteen members met at the beautifully decorated home of Barb Austin for the annual event. Members brought sweet or savory dishes to share.

Following the repast, members gathered to open gifts, everyone drew a name at the last meeting and purchased a gift for a child that reminded them of the person whose name they drew. Members selected a gift to open and then had to guess who it was. Some very easy and others more difficult, there was much fun and laughter.

The gifts purchased for the Dover-Foxcroft Kiwanis Community Christmas were on display. Several children will have a nice Christmas. Members donate and the club has a certain amount in the treasury, some members also adopt a child on their own. Merry Christmas to all!
