THE KATAHDIN IS BACK -- The steamboat Katahdin, historic flagship for the Moosehead Marine Museum, is back to plying the waters of Moosehead Lake after engine failure on July 20 led to her being out of commission. Her engines have been replaced and she began her regular cruising schedule on Friday, September 7. With the foliage season at our door, tickets for a ride on the Kate can be purchased online (www.katahdincruises.com) or by stopping at the ticket office on the day of the cruise. The office is located in the museum at 12 Lily Bay Road in Greenville. Cruises are Tuesday – Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday & Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For information call 207-695-2716.
