Lois Ethel Hobart Eddy

Dover-Foxcroft – Lois Ethel Hobart Eddy, a devoted mother and wife, peacefully passed away July 8, 2018, at the age of 86. She was born July 14, 1931, in Lynn, MA, the daughter of LeRoy and Dorothy (Hall) Hobart.
Lois was predeceased by Clifton Eddy, her husband of 64 years, and a son, Jeffrey.
She was loved by her family: son, George W. Eddy and his wife, Harriett; son, Roger Eddy; and daughter, Penellope “Penny” Cote and her husband, Daniel. Lois is survived by her grandchildren, Melissa Gott, Michelle Gray, Beverly Goldsmith and her husband, Cameron, Charles Eddy and wife, Mindy, Allison Parks and husband, Matt, Abigail and husband, Nathan Morgan, Sarah and husband, Chris Hampson, Seth and wife, Danielle Cote, Rachel and husband, Wesley Booth, and her great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Gadway, Ariel Gott, Haley and Josh Surette, Devon and Miranda Kerr, Seth Meredith, Olivia and Myron Davis, Cora and Mary Grace Morgan, Anna and Elisabeth Hampson, Autumn and Lily Cote. She leaves her great-great-grandchildren, Mason and Derek Gadway, Kaci and Thomas Eddy. There are also nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and helped her with daily needs: Debbie and Michael Loguercio, Judith Livingstone and Joan Mcafee. She will be greatly missed by all. The family also thanks the staff, doctors and nurses on the second floor of Mayo Regional Hospital who were incredibly helpful and loving to Lois and her family.
A graveside memorial service will be conducted 11:00am Monday, July 16, 2018, at the family lot in the East Dover Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Donald B. and Shirley M.R. Minster Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 757, Chester, VT, 05143.
