July 27 Moosehead Lake cruise to benefit Holy Family Church building fund

GREENVILLE — The second annual Mid-Summer Night’s Gala Dinner Dance will be on the evening of Friday, July 27 aboard the Steamship Katahdin.

In March the Holy Family Church in Greenville dedicated its brand new church in March. With only 5 percent of the fundraising left, the parish is sponsoring a dinner/dance cruise aboard the Katahdin with all ticket proceeds going to the church building fund. Enjoy dinner, dancing to a live band, and wine tasting on a three-hour summer evening cruise around Moosehead Lake. Boarding will be at approximately 5 p.m., the Katahdin sets sail at 6 p.m. for the three-hour trip.

The evening cruise includes Hors d’oeuvres and appetizers upon embarkation, Bartlett Estate Winery’s wine and mojito tasting, dancing all evening to the music of the Half Way Home’s — Alexandra and Kermit Bennett and Dick Dutson band, a full course dinner with beer and wine, dance lessons from noted instructor Mike Levinsky, a 50/50 raffle, silent auction and more.
