Science teacher honored as PCSWCD’s Outstanding Conservation Educator of the Year

GUILFORD — On June 15 the Piscataquis County Soil and Water Conservation District (PCSWCD) presented Heather Doherty with its 2017 Outstanding Conservation Educator of the Year honor at a Piscataquis Community Secondary School awards ceremony. Doherty teaches science at PCSS.

Kacey Weber, educational coordinator for the PCSWCD, presented Doherty with her award and Sen. Paul Davis, R-Sangerville, provided a Legislative Sentiment to celebrate the occasion.
