World War II veteran tours Augusta on 95th birthday

ON THE OCCASION OF HIS 95TH BIRTHDAY — On May 18 Sen. Paul Davis (R-Sangerville) welcomed Clifford Wiley of Dover-Foxcroft and his family to the Statehouse to receive a Legislative Sentiment in the House of Representatives honoring his 95th birthday. Wiley is one of four brothers who served during World War II in the European Theater. He served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant in the 26th Infantry Division, was wounded at the Battle of the Bulge and received a Purple Heart. From left are Davis, Wiley and Rep.
