Chamber Business After Hours and ribbon cutting at new home of Chloe’s Collections on June 1
DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce will host a Business After Hours and ribbon cutting for Chloe’s Collections, a full-service florist formerly of Parkman. The event for Chamber members will be on Thursday, June 1 from 5-7 p.m. at the 1 North Street location.
Owner Joy Gregory started Chloe’s Collections in 2001 in sunny Florida, and moved the business to Parkman in 2009. She has taken a hands-on approach to running her business, creating her arrangements and personally delivering them — often after hours or on holidays. Gregory operates her business with a caring personal touch, even offering in-home bereavement consultations for families who have lost loved ones. She also offers tuxedo rentals from bow-ties to shoes for proms, weddings and formal events. Chloe’s Collections offers bridal planning and an extensive network of services for the bride and groom.
Chloe’s Collections opened the doors of its new location prior to Mother’s Day, and Gregory was overwhelmed by the immediate welcome she received from the community, saying, “I want to truly thank the people of Dover-Foxcroft for their response, I want them to know how much it meant to me, it was truly overwhelming.”
Gregory who has worked as an oncology nurse and holds a bachelor of arts degree in marketing and business management, and studied floral design at Florida Art Institute, is excited to be in Dover-Foxcroft and looks forward to working with the residents and businesses of our region.
“I love color, texture and working with different mediums,” she said. “Each design, be it fresh-cut, dried or papier-silk botanicals, should always reflect the personality of both the purchaser and the recipient. Flowers make a statement and our imagination is the only limit for creativity. I strive to offer availability, quality and always affordability. Everyone deserves the gift of flowers.”
The Business After Hours event and ribbon-cutting on June 1 is from 5-7 p.m. and is open to members of the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce only. Light food and refreshments will be served, and door prizes will be offered.
