The river walk was established in 2016 and was funded by the State of Maine Communities for Maine’s Future Program. The river walk begins at the basketball court on Moosehead Lane and extends to the gate at the hydro facility at the former Mayo Mill. The path includes a gazebo and granite seating along the walk.
