May 5 First Friday discussion to look at ‘Gardening as We Get Older’
DEXTER — Dexter Dover Area Towns in Transition (DDATT) will host its monthly free public discussion group at the Abbott Memorial Library from 6 to 8 p.m. on May 5.
Palmyra’s Pegg Gannon and St Alban’s Liz Breault, both long-time DDATT supporters and plant growers, will lead the group in three requested areas “Gardening as We Get Older”, “New Garden Pests” and “Growing Berries.”
The purpose of the First Fridays is sharing experiences, and who around here doesn’t have a story or bit of advice about gardening to share? Come have some fun and welcome spring back with a bunch of friends.
DDATT’s mission is to help area residents reduce the use of fossil fuels and create a more stable rural economy. For more information on DDATT and future events, email info@ddatt.org to get on the news list or call 277-4221 or 924-3836.
