ORONO — The Foxcroft Academy boys indoor track and field team finished seventh in a field of eight schools at a Penobscot Valley Conference/Eastern Maine Indoor Track League meet on Jan. 14 at the University of Maine.
Pony senior sprinter Evan Chadbourne picked up all 12 of his team’s points. Chadbourne was third in both the 55 and 200 meters with time respective times of 7.05 and 24.74 seconds.
Dexter Regional High School freshman Chris Roderka ran in the two-mile and while he competed as a non-scoring individual, Roderka had the meet’s third best time in the event. Roderka ran the two miles in 11:09.31.
The Foxcroft girls recorded two points to place eighth among the eight teams on Saturday.
Junior Jordan Thomas came in fifth in the mile at 6:42.53.
