Marwin
Allen Faloon Jr., 57, died unexpected July 13, 2016 at his residence. He was born December 11, 1958 in Lincoln a son of Marwin Sr. and Mary (Sheppard) Faloon.
Allen was a hardworking, old school, perfectionist, straight shooter, man of his word, whose dry sense of humor and willingness to help any in need made him a friend to all he met. Many of these traits were passed down from his father, and he had superior mechanical skills and was a jack of all trades who could fix or build most anything. He enjoyed working at “the farm” in Lowell, his old homestead, and spent many years remodeling the farmhouse. He found peace from the world while he mowed and cleared the fields around the farm on his John Deere tractor.
His family was his world and he adored being “Papa” to his four grandchildren. He followed them throughout their activities and when time allowed took them hunting, fishing, four wheeling, tending the garden, or walking in the woods.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine (Carroll) Faloon; two daughters Shannon L. (Faloon) Kitchen and her husband Matt, Erin L. Veino and her husband Shon, and a son Nicholas R. Sherman and his wife Cassie; five granddaughters Lauren Veino, Lilyana Kitchen, Allison Veino, Blakelyn Sherman and Emma Lucas-Kitchen; four siblings, Richard Faloon, Wendy Fields and her husband David, Justin Faloon and his significant other Wanda Madden, Jon McKenney and his wife Candace; his mother- and father-in-law Orman and Doris Carroll; two step brothers Fred McKenney and his wife Gail, Greg McKenney, and step-sister Linda Thibodeau; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his dad Marwin Faloon Sr., his mother Mary McKenney and step dad Forest McKenney.
Friends may gather from 5-8PM Sunday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. A graveside service will be conducted 11 AM Monday at the Greenbush Cemetery on Route 2. Memorial contributions may be made to the Maine Youth Fish and Game Association P.O. Box 337 Stillwater, ME 04489
