Norma Elaine Leighton, 90, of Phillips-Strickland House, formerly of Dover, NH, died July 20, 2016.
Born in Portsmouth, NH on November 30, 1925, she was the daughter of Richard and Doris(Pinkham) Jones.
She was a graduate of Traip Academy, Class of 1943.
She worked in the Admissions Office at Wentworth Douglas Hospital and in the offices of Dr. Richard and Dr. Galt.
She loved her family and friends deeply.She is predeceased by Charles E. Leighton Jr., her husband of 56 years. Family members include daughters Cheryl Sprague and Lois Brann; son-in-law Tom Brann; grandchildren Samantha Runco, Matthew and Michelle Brann, and Patrick and Casey Brann; great grandchildren Thomas and William Runco; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends she considered family.
A graveside service will be conducted on July 26, 2016 at 1:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery, South Berwick, ME with Rev. Mark Alley officiating.
