Laurie Ann (Hutchinson) Larrabee, daughter of Tom and Rose (Shepard) Hutchinson, passed away unexpectedly at a local hospital on July 14, 2016.
Laurie was born at Travis Air Force Base, Fairfield, California on September 23, 1978.
Laurie was a loving and devoted mother of four: Johnathan, Ariel, Sierra and Daniel III. In addition to her children, Laurie is survived by her parents, two brothers, Howard and his wife, Michelle, Christopher and his wife, Christie, two nieces Kristina and Katie, two nephews Tyler and Tommy, her grandmother Alice Shepard, Aunt Elizabeth Heath and numerous cousins.
Laurie attended elementary school in Newport News, Virginia, San Diego, California, and Honolulu, Hawaii before moving to Deer Isle where she attended Deer Isle-Stonington school from grade 7 through high school. Laurie has worked for many years in local grocery stores. She worked at Tradewinds, Bartlett’s Market. She is best known for her latest employment at Burnt Cove Market, where she had worked the most years.
Laurie was pre-deceased by her grandparents, Howard and Betty Hutchinson, grandfather Walter Shepard, Uncle Walter Shepard, two cousins Genice Hutchinson and Jocelyn McGuire and Uncle Wes Heath.
Services are being held at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home in Stonington. Viewing hours will be 6-8pm on Friday, July 22, 2016. Laurie’s funeral is scheduled for Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11am. Frank Shepard will be officiating. Online condolences may be shared at www.bragdonkelley.com
